Welcome to Relax to the Max! I'm Gretchen Rivas, owner. I graduated from Coastal Carolina Institute of Massage Therapy in 2001, and am a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist and licensed by the state of N.C. (#3153).

I have training in a wide variety of modalities: Swedish massage, sports massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, chair massage, hydrotherapy, Jin Shin Jytsu, etc., but my expertise lies in combining Swedish massage with deep tissue or trigger point therapy and energy work to give you the best results possible from your massage.

I have continued my education and training by taking Thai Yoga Massage Therapy, specific Trigger Point Therapy and becoming a Reiki Master. I recently went to California to train in CranialSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute at Esalen.

I am also an Instructor at Miller-Motte Technical College in the massage department.
